Our Biodegradable Glitters use plant cellulose derived from sustainably sourced wood pulp instead of plastic for the base. Testing has shown that these glitters biodegrade approximately 92% after 100 days when in the presence of microbes in the environment. The remaining ingredients have been shown to pose little to no harm to the environment in such small quantities.
